Secondly, it’s maddening to read stories like this. I don’t know what legislation is like where you are, but the UK and some EU member states now consider that a specific, stand alone, crime. As distinct from Data Protection breaches.

Because it’s a criminal offence, it doesn’t cost anything to the victim. Which is arguably also the right approach. Since the judiciary don’t want to descourage victims from coming forward. Albeit that the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service aren’t all that veracious in their prosecution of such crimes?

Is there a specific law that exit to tackle revenge porn and is it as easy to action?
