How Agile Are You?

Every few years, Scott Ambler survey’s the software development world with a self-reported survey of agility. He asks volunteer participants how agile they think they are. Every year, I looked at the simple Survey Monkey output and dismay at the amount of untapped information, analysed in such a rudimentary way as to lose the power contained inside it.
Finally, back in late 2014, I decided to finally decided to grab Scott Ambler’s data by the horns and crunch it to within an inch of it’s life! All to draw up the above infographic.
It’s interesting to see the results, yet surprising at the same time.
Scott usually invites commentary and is keen to see what people did with his data, and readily admitted he wasn’t an analyst. I sent him a link and sure enough, got nothing back :-D
Oh well, better luck getting an acknowledgement next time! Others seemed to like it.
