I’m going to comment. I have a present for you.
As your poem lacks a certain “Trump” card for who,
May wish to hide their hatred, behind the topic at hand,
“Free Speech” to spread hatred across all the land.
But back in the 30’s, we all learned to grieve,
The deaths at Pearl Harbour, bled forces naive,
To the inciters of violence, and orators grand,
Where 60 million people, had died at their hand.
A league had the foresight, to limit said speech,
To actions that won’t threaten, the rights which Kath speak.
Since the right to that life, lived persecution free,
Must trump all such madness, that’s spouted by he!
Such threat existential, to US Democracy,
Amendments control, but risk the hypocrisy,
Where a Presidential rules, an ego so grand,
Matched by delusion, and gone by his hand.
So I’ll leave you this picture, of Declaration signed then,
For here’s Article 30, as we’ll need it when,
Some claim rights to any speech, religious fervour or more.
Put pay, to their stances, to avoid the horrors of war!
