Over the last 12 to 18 months this has been a recurring theme on LinkedIn. Since the Charlotte Proundman expose, I, as a man, have frankly been disgusted by the behaviour of men on that site. I’ve born witness to posts in which men have approached women and then those women, who were brave enough to post their experience with evidence, have been more or less bullied into submission, by being accused of marketing for followers, connections, likes, shares etc. almost always by people in sales roles. Indeed, many have had false accusations levied at them, which I’ve taken apart myself piece by piece.

Personally, FWIW, I won’t stand for it. The experiences highlighted in this article are a criminal and civil matter. It’s fraud. There isn’t anything else. I’d report it to the authorities. In the UK that is ActionFraud. I’m sure other countries have similar services.
